Week 3: Weigh-in
Week 3/4 are notoriously "stall" or "slow" weeks after VSG from what I read on the interwebz. It was somewhat true for me, unfortunately. Let's take a look at the numbers.
Here are my stats:
HW: 335
SW: 327.1
CW: 309
Total Loss (from highest): 26
Loss this week of: 1.8
This week's goals: Push hard on getting all liquid in, and not just minimum. Also, exercise 2x. I would really realllllly like to lose 4 this week so I can go back to work (I'm back working, but from home, so I mean back into the office and seeing people) an even 30 lbs down.
You know what else is crazy? How many pounds equal a 'size' in Plus Size. I feel like if any of my normally-sized friends lost 26 lbs they'd have gone down at least one size. For me - nope. Some of my 26W jeans are loose - but they kind of always were. I was kind of just really requiring a 26 when this whole thing started. So I guess they are looser? I don't really otherwise notice a change in how anything fits - which is SO crazy to me. I kept really accurate track of how much I lost and when back in 2005 but not of when my sizes changed. So, it's cool to look back to that but I kinda wish I knew when sizes shifted (then again, I hadn't borne a child back then so I'm a little afraid things just won't be the same no matter what! :)
What else? I go for my first post-surgical follow-up with my Surgeon and nutritionist tomorrow. It's supposed to be after one month and I'm only 3 weeks but they are OOO next week and I'm back to work so it was easiest for all to do it this week.
I'll update with a picture next week at one month out!

I hope your post op goes well maybe he will have an idea about why you feel it has been going slow for you and can maybe make some changes. That is interesting about clothes, because for me a 20 pound drop was definitely a clothes size--but yeah baby bearing does change your body.
