One Month Weigh-in!

Well, it's been a month, and I feel great!  The scale is finally moving, more on that in a bit, and the weather is getting nicer (finally) and things are good.

Since last week I went and joined a gym (had a Groupon for an 8 week membership).  Then I got a chest cold (special shout-out to my daughter for that...) and I haven't been able to go work out yet.  I also went to my first 'event', my BFF's baby shower.  I ordered the broiled salmon (who am I?) and had two bites of her delicious cake and then made someone move it to the other end of the table :)  I am officially caffeine and Diet Coke free for one month and I can't believe it!  You know what sucks though?  Being able to eat so little and also being able to taste NOTHING.  It's so brutal.  I don't even want to eat, but I want to get my protein in and I get hungry if I go too long without eating (~5 hours).

OK, what you all care about - the results!

Loss last week: 6.6 (!!!!!!!!)
Loss since start: 32.6

You know what that means?  GOAL #1 ACHIEVED!

Goal #1 was to get to 304 which was the weight I was when I got pregnant with Jane.  It also represents just about 10% total body weight loss.  Last, I've been away from the office for a month.  I had surgery, took two weeks off and then worked from home for two weeks.  I had a mini-goal of being down 30 lbs before going back.  Goals: done, done and done!
