There's an app for that!

One thing that is universally recommended, even required, is to slow down your eating with your new sleeve. Smaller bites chewed a ridiculously long time and make meals last 20 mins MINIMUM. The purpose is to make sure what you're eating is small enough for your sleeve but also to ensure you're eating slowly enough to recognize the "I'm satisfied" signals from your body.

So far this has been very hard for me. I eat incredibly fast and really never got full so it wasn't an issue. I've posted before about my struggles telling 'when' and fine dining I either way underestimate and play it safe or I take one trip two bites too many.

Needing help finding a way to set pace I found out there's an app for that!

Meet "Eat Slower"

I tried it for breakfast and lunch and did well. Thing is, eating slowly is hard enough. Eating an ounce if food over 30 mins is just stupid.

I used it for dinner too but my meals was 'heavier' and I needed to go slower still because I ended up eating a bite or two too much.

The app us cool you can customize the interval and it just chimes or buzzes when it's time for the next bite. I plan to try it again tomorrow.
