My surgeon's office staff has been less than stellar through this entire thing. Let's just get that on the table. There was a lot of attitude, some personnel changes which made follow-up difficult and then just a lack of responsiveness.
My surgery is Monday. I have heard not a peep from them in over 3 weeks. I don't even know for sure that they received the Insurance Approval paperwork. So, anyway, I call them today to just be like "hey, are we on for Monday or what? What are my next steps here - just show up? Can someone call me? kthxbai".
Oh, someone called alright.
The good news is I am confirmed for Monday. I will call in tomorrow to find out my arrival time and all that jazz. Great.
The bad news? She breezily told me I could begin my TWO DAY ALL CLEAR LIQUID DIET Saturday AM. My what now?
So, so much for my big dinner plans Saturday night and breakfast Sunday, etc etc.
This just got very real, very fast and I am FREAKING OUT. Not only that but I have zero information from them on what this liquid diet even is. They suck so bad and I am so angry right now.
