More Non-Scale Victories (NSV)

(1) A year or so ago I went and had my engagement ring made larger.  My wedding band is an eternity band which can't be easily sized so our jeweler 'shaved' a bunch of the platinum out of the interior (bye bye value...) so that it would fit.

Lately my rings have been flying off.  I went back to have them done again.  My engagement ring is now a 9 (it was a 9.25 when I got engaged and went up to nearly an 11).  My wedding ring now has little sizing nubs in it to make it a 9 too.

If I need to go any smaller than an 8.5 in the engagement ring, or want to not have the sizing balls anymore, I'll have to have each ring entirely re-set.  Crazy!

(2)  I'm sitting at my desk with my legs crossed UNDER MY DESK y'all.

(3) This one is more sucky than a victory but someone sat next to me on the train this morning.  I used to appear so wide that people didn't want to squeeze in the middle of me and someone else.  This morning someone took that risk.  Grrrrrrrr.....
