Today marks 10 weeks. I had a really good week on the scale so that always makes me happy. Given my indulgences (see previous post) I'm a little surprised.
I was able to eat an entire piece of pizza and didn't feel even a little ill. This AM I ate an entire egg white and cheese sandwich on a roll (threw a small bit of roll out). I had maybe a bite or two too many but I never felt sick, I think it was eating too fast more than anything. That's the most volume I've been able to have - don't know how I feel about that! I like not feeling instantly sick, but I worry my restriction is going away! Eeeeeks.
Anyway, here are the numbers:
HW: 335
SW: 327
CW: 280.2
Loss: 54.8
That's really really close to 20% of total body weight gone! It's about 35% of *excess* weight loss. Remember the average for this surgery is to lose about 70-80% EWL if I recall correctly. I mean, I'd like to lose 100% of my EWL but we'll see. Either way, on the right track.
You know what's frustrating though? Clothing. I was so excited to start getting smaller clothes but NOTHING FITS right. I used to have a very proportional body (big, but in proportion). Now my waist is bigger in relation to my hips/thighs and nothing fits. Not only that but stores seem to only make 'curvy cut' meaning they cut larger for the thigh/butt and cinch in the waist. Because OBVIOUSLY all plus size girls need a bigger butt. Blargh.
Anyway, I have some new stuff on order and we'll see how it works.
