This post is a little late but still just as exciting!
Shortly before the New Year I finally hit that mythical mystical sub-200 lb mark. It's not like I didn't know it was coming, I was rocking out in the 200-205 range for WEEKS. But still, when the scale had a "1" at the start, it was a little surreal. However, I have to say, it was far more anticlimactic than I thought it would be. I don't know why. I think I thought that like balloons would fall from the ceiling of my bathroom and trumpeters would sound. That didn't happen. I stood there naked, ran for my camera, and tried to take a picture that would not show a nude reflection in my glass scale, LOL.
Since that day I've remained below 200. I was sure I would bounce around but I haven't really. The Holidays were hard food-wise and I vow when I go back to work on Monday to start journaling calories again. That's what FINALLY got me below 200, I know it. I know I have some skin left in this game I know I can lose more. If I don't make it to 175, fine. But, I don't want to give up without a fight.
The lowest I've gotten is 196.4. As of this morning I'm up to 198 again. I'm just finishing my period and haven't been eating 100% great so, there you go.
I made my goal of being below 200 by the end of the year and that feels fantastic!!
