Left is Before, Right is today (4 months/80 lbs after):
Note: in the tank/yoga pants pics the yoga pants are the same (this may be the last month, they are huge) but the tank is different. It's a much smaller tighter spandex one for layering so it's less forgiving but I think shows my body better than the (now) huge one I wore at the start.
Overall I feel great but I'm still shocked that no one who doesn't know that I had surgery or that I'm trying to lose weight has said anything. I either don't have that kind of run-in with anyone or people are just too scared to say anything because, to me, there is zero doubt how different I look now. None.
One thing that's becoming more apparent, waaaaahhhhh, is saggy skin. My arms were always my nemesis. They've always, no matter my weight, been disproportionately large (like blazers and jackets wouldn't fit b/c of my bicep measurement yet everything else would be fine). So while my arms have gotten smaller my fluchkes (yiddish for 'flabby arms' :) have gotten way worse. You can see in the side comparison pic before how there is fat that just now hangs over my elbow (worse than in the before). But in the interest of true journalistic integrity, I share this:
DEAR MOTHER OF GOD I KNOW!
Thing is, while it's bad now, it's going to get so very much worse. I fully intend to get brachioplasty just as soon as I can. I'll likely get other surgery done too but I think arms first. It will leave me with a very long visible scar (like pic on left, below) but I think I'll trade a scar for the 'before'. What you can't tell in my pic is that I'm starting to get some of that "dimpling' like the below left "before" lady has. and the over the bra fat/sag too. Eeeeeew.
The only nice thing about my arm picture is that my engagement ring is officially too big to be worn on my left finger so I've switched it to the right, as you can see, until I get time to go to the jeweler! :)
That's my long update.

You look AMAZING, Megan. Keep up the good work. And I love the dress (and the happy smile) in the "after" photo above.
