6 months, 100 lbs. Never in my wildest dreams. I've had a rough few weeks, mostly this past week on vacation in Michigan It was good though, I ate well nearly all the time but did have some things that I don't normally (Tostitos Hint of Lime Chips I'm looking at you...).
So it was a great exercise in 'real life' - what life might be like on maintenance. I still managed to lose (modest) weight and had a good time. Win-win.
I leave for Hawaii in 6 weeks and I want to handle that vacation similarly which means that the next 6 weeks are crunch time. I pushed Jane on a nearly 3 mile walk today. I was supposed to have my trainer tomorrow but she's still on vacation and I didn't get my act together to do Zumba so I will walk again. I kinda want to walk Jane to school and then home (I'd leave our stroller there so I am not walking with an empty stroller - that seems bizarre). Problem is school is 3 miles one way. The most I've done is 3.5 miles. I'm a little afraid I'll be stranded or otherwise not make it. My husband suggested I just walk there and then have my Mom come pick me up or something but that seems like cheating somehow. Decisions, decisions. Anyway, here are the official stats. I can't believe next week marks 6 months since surgery. I have no regrets and would do it again in a heartbeat.
