Goals Revisited

Back again so soon!

My last blog post, like 20 mins ago, got me thinking 'where am I with those long forgotten goals I set a year ago'?  I fixed my neglected sidebar ----->

but I also thought - are there any goals I set still un-met?  A quick search led me to my original post on the topic of goals.  Per that post, I have only one goal remaining, that is to lose 150 lbs.   It was then that I also realized that this morning weigh-in, an all-time low of 186, makes me one pound away from meeting that last goal I set so naively a mere one year ago.

One. Pound.

Thing is, I haven't even been trying to lose much at all.  In fact I know I'm probably eating more than I should and moving far less than I should.  I've basically been maintaining 192 give or take, with little effort, since January.  I wonder if this loss is a function of the 4-5 miles per day I was walking in Paris (oh, update, I just got back from a few days in Paris).

Now that the weather is nicer I want to take advantage and start walking again but my hip is really really bothering me.  I was in agony in Paris.  I think I need to get back in to see my Orthopedist.  It's not fair that I've lost all this weight and have all this more energy.....only to be in MORE pain than I was before.
